If you need your bike serviced you needn't go anywhere else, with our qualified Shimano and SRAM mechanics at AvantiPlus Blenheim we guarantee to get you back on your bike.   Our workshop is a Shimano Certified Service Centre 2012 and all our mechanics are trained to the highest specification requirements.  We service all brands of bikes.  If you are travelling and need your bike assembled for rides around Marlborough we are here to help visitors to Blenheim.

Brendan - Head Mechanic. I have worked here at  Avantiplus Blenheim, since starting in 2000. I have completed the following Retail and Mechanical courses:

I have been part of the Avantiplus team since 2008, learning so much about  cycling as this industry evolves with every new season.  I am still learning new skills every day, and have helped heaps of people make their cycling dream a reality. I am confident I can answer almost anything you can ask me and if I am unable to we have a great Avanti support team who can further assist.
I am currently working on my retail apprenticeship having completed level 2.0 and am currently working through my level 3.0. I have completed the following retail sales courses.

Introducing Keaton

Hi I joined AvantiPlus Blenheim Oct 2012.  I have been working in the bike industry for about a year.
Firstly at Reidie Cycles where I had worked prior to the business selling. I started my Bike Mechanic Apprenticeship and am 8 months into it.  I now work under the watchful eye of Brendan, building bikes, doing most things mechanical and really enjoying the busy workshop atmosphere.

I love to get out and ride my BMX and do a bit of down-hilling plus work out in the gym.

Hi My name is Nick, I joined AvantiPlus Blenheim Nov 2011.  At the moment I am under the watchful eye of Brendan the Head Mechanic.  Part of my role here is mechanical and retail, selling bikes and advising customers where possible.

My passion is road riding.

Hi my name is Lynne,
I have been involved with Avantiplus team for over 3 years, in the background doing the accounts and website.  I have now joined them working approxmately 25 hours a week, still doing the accounts, website.  My role now is to also try and get more awareness out in the community, promoting the shop and its services.  I have now set up a facebook page, please join us on facebook. Another roll I have undertaken is to ensure our records are up to date and to get feedback by way of asking existing and past customers complete a survey, this can be picked up at the shop.  I have given my time to be involved with Walk Bike Community and Cycle Safety programmes.
In my spare time I enjoy cycling, haven ridden several times Round Lake Taupo, Source to Sea, Lake Brunner and many more events around NZ and overseas. 
We have introduced a sunday morning coffee cycle group departing at 9.00 from 61 Queen St.
Over the daylight saving months I run a Womens Only ride on Monday nights departing at 6.00 from 61 Queen St.  I also enjoy running, having completed quite a few half marathans and have successfully completed 2 half ironmans.  I enjoy all sorts of outdoor and indoor sports - over the winter am a keen gym junkie.  Keen to give it a go, love exploring the many cycle and run tracks here in Marlborough.
